EIA's research program studies how ventures are created — and engineers the machines that create them.

The Autonomous Venture Lab is EIA's research program on AI agents executing venture-creation workflows — ideation, validation, and operations — studied against human-team baselines drawn from a decade of program data. The lab's question is precise: which venture-creation tasks can be delegated to autonomous agents, with what quality, and at what risk?
The Healthcare Venture World Model is a computational simulation of healthcare venture dynamics — regulatory pathways, reimbursement logic, and clinical adoption — used both as a research artifact and as a teaching sandbox in EIA programs. Terminology note: this is a domain simulation model of a venture environment; it is distinct from learned "world models" in AI research (Ha & Schmidhuber, 2018), though the lab's roadmap explores learned variants.
